🥳 :The day of your procedure: 🥳

After your LIP-BLUSHING gently blot the area with the supplied non-woven gauze to absorb excess lymph fluid. Do this every 5 minutes for the full day until weeping/oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents hardening of the lymph. ( scabbing )

APPLY THE SUPPLIED AQUIPHOR THROUGH THE DAY FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS & after each blotting.USE A SMALL AMOUNT JUST ENOUGH TO COAT THE LIPS. DO-NOT SUFFOCATE THE LIP-BLUSHING‼️. READ ON FOR THE SCHEDULE.

Days 1-7: Wash Schedule.

Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. (Don't worry...THIS DOES NOT REMOVE THE PIGMENT!)

  • WHEN WASHING ALWAUS USE TEPID WATER and the supplied antibacterial soap. With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the affected area. Very lightly rub the area in a smooth motion for 10 seconds and rinse with tepid water ensuring that all soap is rinsed away. To dry, gently pat with the clean gauze and wait 5 minutes to ensure the area is dry.

Days 1,

  • Wash 2 to 3 hours after blushing and every 2 hours until bed time, before bed remember to apply Aquaphor.

Day 2,

  • Wash in the morning. If still weeping/oozing continue to wash every 5 hours and keep Aquaphor on the lips at all times.

Day 3-7.

  • Stop washing. All weeping/oozing has stopped by now. Start using the supplied lip-balm and continue to moisturize and reapply throughout the day. If you feel you aren’t getting enough moisture to the lips you may alternate between the supplied lip-balm and the supplied Aquiphori if you desire.

  • DO NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, AHA, BHA etc), or any exfoliants. ONLY USE WHAT IS IN YOUR TAKE-HOME AFTERCARE KIT & INSTRUCTIONS.

Important Reminders

    •    Use a fresh pillowcase

    •    Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate away. Picking can cause scarring or loss of colour

    •    No facials, botox, chemical treatments or microdermabrasion for 4 weeks

    •    Avoid hot, sweaty exercise for a minimum of 10 days

    •    Avoid direct sun exposure or tanning for 4 weeks after the procedure. Wear a hat when outdoors and the supplied SPF MOISTURIZING LIP BLAM .

    •    Avoid heavy sweating and long hot showers for the first 10 days.

    •    Avoid sleeping on your face for the first 10 days

    •    Avoid swimming, lakes, hot tubs for the first 10 days

    •    Avoid topical makeup including sunscreen on the area

    •    DO NOT rub, pick or scratch the treated area.

Remember, with the proper prep and aftercare routine you will have much better results with your microblading procedure.

Important note about showering:

Limit your showers to 5 minutes so you do not create too much steam. Keep your face/procedure area out of the water while you wash your body, then, at the end of your shower, wash your hair. Your face, or procedure area, should only be getting wet at the very last end of the shower. Avoid excessive rinsing and hot water on the treated area.
